This step by step visual guide will teach you how easy it is to buy, sell, trade and catalog your goods by using TheTradeBox.com.
The tutorial is broken into three sections: Cataloging, Selling & Trading and Buying & Trading in order to help you understand the basics.
The first step to cataloging your DVD's, video games, watches, baseball cards etc., is to use the main search feature. More common items will return results, otherwise items that are not found will need to be cataloged manually (See step 5).

If your results are found, then the main search page will display all the "matches". You can use sort options to narrow the results in order to find the specific item.

Click on the "Catalog" image (left side of screen) or the "Add" button to queue the item for your cataloging database entry. You will then be re-directed to your user control panel (if you are signed on) to proof the catalog and modify the details.

The item you add to the catalog queue will populate details about the item (if applicable). You can add details and modify the entry as well as upload a custom image for the item. Once you have filled out the details, simply click the insert button to submit the record.

Log into your account and select a category from the Collections (left side of the navigation menu). Click on the "Add" link, which will take you into the form as shown above in step 4. Enter the customized description, details, and uploaded image of the item you wish to catalog.

Log into your account and on the right side of the navigation menu, click on "Create An Ad" to start an ad.

Type in a product or item description you wish to sell or trade. Select the type of ad you are creating (you can mix and match from the three options).

Choose a main category for the item you are selling or trading.

Fill out the details of the item and information such as: purchasing price, item condition, shipping cost, payment type's etc. You can also upload images (right side panel) to display to potential buyers and traders.

Review the details of the ad then submit. Once submitted you have the options of viewing your ad, check the number of bids, monitor how many users are following and much more.

From the top navigation menu click on "View Ads", which displays the results of items being sold and traded. Using the options, you can narrow your results to find the specific items you are interested in.

View the details of the item and also review the user's requirements for purchasing or trading the item. When ready, click on the "Buy It" button to confirm your purchase.

To accept the proposed trade, click on the "Accept" button, but if you think the other party may be interested in another offer, then submit a counter offer specifying the details.

Submit your counter offer by filling out the details of your proposed offer. The other party will receive your offer and if they accept you will be notified.
